You can set or unset the photo associated with your profile. To see what a profile portrait means, check out anyone's profile page. The photo displayed next to the country flag is the “profile portrait”.
To set your profile photo:
To delete or unset the profile photo you might have created, log into your account and go to your Profile page. Click on the “remove portrait” link listed on the page.
This ”::” is a way to denote that the image displayed represents a gallery and not just an image itself. You can change how to denote a gallery:
Log into your pbase account. Go to your account setting area at http://www.pbase.com/account. Fill in your copyright sentence in the text box provided under the heading “Copyright Statement for Images”. Scroll to the bottom of the page and press the button “Update”.
Please try to use the copyright symbol's URL encoded form in the text box mentioned above. It would be something like ”©”. For example, my copyright notice looks like:
Copyright © Srijith.K . All rights reserved.
You might also want to provide some way for others to contact you if someone is interested in using your images. For example Slug (the owner of the site) has his mail linked. This is his code;
Copyright © 1999-2005, <a href=“mailto:slug@pbase.com”>slug@pbase.com</a> All rights reserved.
And this is how it turns out for viewers; (using a black and white CSS stylesheet of course)
Do note that providing a 'mailto' link in a webpage can increase the chance of your email address being harvested by a spambot. So, some users prefer to use a decoy address like
Copyright © 1999-2005, <a href=“mailto:srijithATsrijithDOTcom”>srijithATsrijithDOTcom</a> All rights reserved.
Make sure you know what you are doing. If you have extensively linked to images or publicised your Pbase URL, think twice.
If you are sure you want to go ahead, delete all the images and galleries in your account and shoot an email to the pbase team. Their emails can be found at Pbase Official Contact page.
The way things are setup, the user's guestbook is a subset of his/her's personal forum. So, a user's personal forum is the big place that contains the user's guestbook, gallery and image comments.
So, to delete any entry in the guestbook:

When you make a successful payment, your account is automatically updated. If your account doesn't update, there is a problem. Either the payment did not go through or it wasn't automatically associated with your account. If you think the update is taking too long and there might be a problem, you are probably right. Send an email to me at emily@pbase.com and I will look into it.
Pbase does not support any usage statistics other than the gallery and image hit counters. However, several users have successfully embedded external party counters into their galleries to get detailed information on their visitors.
A service used by many is NedtStat Basic. You might want to try this service and see if it works for you. It has been noticed recently that Nedstat seems to be inserting popup ads into pages that use their code. You have been warned.
Please note that the PBase team does not endorse nor discourage use of any third party counters. You should read and be satisfied by the Privacy Policy of these services before you use them for your personal use.
Please email accounts@pbase.com and ask them (politely of course) if a username change is possible.
Please read through this HOWTO for a comprehensive discussion on the options available to you as a user to fight comment spams.
PBase has introduced a slideshow feature recently. Before that, some PBase users had come up with a way to enabled slideshows in their galleries. Read this HOWTO. This 'hack' is no longer advised or supported.
